Terms of Use

Updated 29 October 2026

Lanes is run by Risk Creatives Enterprise in Malaysia ("we"). By using Lanes you agree to these terms. If you got Lanes from the App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

Drive safely

Watch the road, not the screen. Follow traffic laws, road signs and the police over anything Lanes tells you. Set your destination before you drive or let a passenger do it. Don't handle your phone while driving.

Directions can be wrong

Routes, arrival times, traffic, tolls, speed limits, speed cameras and reports come from maps, other services and other drivers. They can be out of date or wrong. A road Lanes suggests may be closed, unsafe or not allowed for your vehicle. Use your own judgement.

Reports

Only report what you actually see. Don't post false, abusive or misleading reports. We may remove reports and block reporting from a device that breaks this.

Fair use

Use Lanes for your own trips. Don't copy, scrape or resell its data, overload or attack its servers, use its service keys outside the app, or try to get around its limits.

Lanes is still being built

Lanes is in early access. Features may change, break or be removed, and we may pause or stop the service. Lanes is free and we don't promise it will always be available.

Map data

Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License. Traffic and some routes and places come from TomTom and GrabMaps. Other data is credited in Settings → Help, credits & legal.

Liability

Lanes is provided as is, without warranty. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss or damage from using Lanes, including delays, fines, tolls, accidents or a wrong route. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under Malaysian consumer law.

Changes

We may update these terms. The new version will be in the app and at getlanes.app/terms with a new date. If you keep using Lanes after a change, the new terms apply.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and disputes go to the courts of Malaysia. Questions: [email protected].
